My family

I'm surrounded by 2 boys, my husband, my son. Our sweet boy-dog Ranger (age 14) passed away in Dec 2023. My son graduated from a college in May 2024. Unfortunately my husband had a falling accident and got a spinal cord injury (T10) in July 2021 when we all did outdoor rock-climbing together at the Red River Gorge in KY. We have started our new chapter with a new life style. He is a biology professor and a great handcyclist. His favorite handcycle race is the Air Force Marathon (42.195km) in Dayton in September, so far. We are looking at several more opportunities in the future.

We are originally from Japan. My hometown is Sapporo. My husband's hometown is Wakayama. Our son was born in Manhattan, KS. We all speak Japanese (only) at home. Our all families live in Japan.  
Our son traveled solo to Mongolia (and Japan) in one Summer. Ask him all about it. 
My husband and I are still seeking the ways to travel outside USA with SCI conditions.
